Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when registering an account, including your name, email address, role (student, teacher, parent, or administrator), and school affiliation. We also collect usage data — pages visited, features used, and session timestamps — to improve the platform.

02

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to operate and improve Madrasati. This includes authenticating your account, delivering platform features (timetables, homework, announcements), sending transactional notifications, and generating aggregated analytics for school administrators. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

03

Data Sharing

We share your information only within your institution (e.g. a teacher sees their students' names; a parent sees their child's grades). We may share data with trusted service providers (hosting, email delivery) under strict confidentiality agreements. We disclose data when required by applicable law.

04

Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 90 days after termination, unless a shorter period is required by your institution's data policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

05

Security

We implement industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed password storage, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

06

Children's Privacy

Madrasati is operated for educational institutions and may be used by minors under the supervision of their school. We collect only the minimum data necessary and do not use children's data for advertising. Schools are responsible for obtaining parental consent where required by local law.

07

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact your school administrator or reach us at contact@madrasati.cloud.

08

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify administrators via email and display a banner on the platform at least 7 days before material changes take effect.
